A new Spring version has been released. This is a bugfix release, and most notably fixes the "black ground" issue that some users experienced.

The multiplayer lobby implements a bunch of new things such as better clan tag support, more options for moderators and better support for multiple players behind the same firewall. There are some issues with the new hosting technique however, so hosts are still advised to forward ports as some players may have problems connecting to the game otherwise.

The full changelog can be found here.

You will need to update to this version in order to connect to the multiplayer lobby. If you have 0.67b1 installed, the lobby will offer you a small patch directly when you connect.

If you have installed any 0.6x version already, you only need todownloadthe updating installer. To upgrade any other version or to do a fresh install you will need the regular installer.

I have 0.67b1. When I load the updating installer, it tells me that i dont have any version of spring 0.6x, and that i need to download the full installer. Spring.exe is unmodified, the only thing that i have downloaded to my spring folder are mods, maps and demos. This is not a big deal( I can just download the full installer)....but I thought that I would put this out there.

Yeah, I made a mistake with the installer version checking, so it failed to recognize 0.67b1. The smaller update works for 0.67b1 though :) Anyway, the installer has been replaced with a fixed one now.

Since I updated to 67b2 none of the AIs seem to actually load. the GLOBAL_AI_INTERFACE_VERSION didn't change, and I get no errors.

What need to be fixed to make an AI start? Or am I just dumb?

Okay, I figured out the problem.

TASpring isn't loading the script from TASClient.

If I start spring and use 'GlobalAITest (AI)' ir runs fine.

But if I use TASClient, add bots, and run, it says 'Loading Script Commanders' and then the AIs don't run.
