Now the server downtime is over, we can make a new bugfix release, version 0.78.2. We mostly concentrated on bugfixes and minor tweaks, this version should be much more stable.
Some of the most noteworthy bugfixes are that the game no longer crashes when the startscript was too long (4 kb in fact)., which usually happened with lots of people in one game, or with people who have incredible long usernames. We also tried to fix the frequent desyncs with 0.78.1.1. We did not get a single desync during our test games. Additionally Adjusting the volume of unit replies works again.
An almost complete version of the changelog lists most of the changes. Credits for this release go to the usuall dev-team, and especially lurker for maintaining his bugfix-series.
Believe it or not, we actually had lots of testers, I would like to thank all of them for their effort.
It was very entertaining on the backup server, like always, people recreating admin accounts, spamming with no chanserv to stop them (in the first 20 mins) noobs asking what happend to rank and if it will come back, idiots saying everyone is smurfing, unbalanced games, ect...
https://blendax.informatik.uni-bremen.d ... 78.2.1.exe gives some annoying warning about certificate. So I changed it from main to mirror 2. Then I noticed that 78.2[b].1[/b] is not on http://spring.clan-sy.com/dl/ Can you upload it there? (Or maybe imbaczek's one (or maybe by the time you read this there'll be yet another unofficial moar bug free build))
Also, given a Spring.exe, how can I know what version it is? (right click, properties does not work)

In any non-trivial piece of software, it's generally accepted that there's going to be at least one bug. If it's not in Spring, it could be in a library that Spring depends on (but, of course, still manifests itself in Spring).
We can dream.
(Ha. BBCode off? BUG: PHPbb knew this when i clicked on the "quote" button, but it still used BBCode instead of generating the equivalent html...)

What is the 'equivalent html'? Without BBCode you don't have any html at all.
