. Here is the mini map of the map I'm working on now. Also, some
screen shots too. I'm not sure if I should add Geos or not ..?
Still up in the air ... The metal resources are lower with this map.
Their are special places that have high ratings around the map.

reminds me of the OTA map isjx heaven but with wacky colours.

Really those colours clash totally making ti look unrealistic.

i presume the map is colour coded to show places of strategic/resoursic importanance, however they are quite ugly some of those tex. You make good maps dude but why always with the metal maps!!! still if basic metal output ~3 and good spots (far from base) give 4-5 then i'll be happy! and extractors do have a good sized radius right? i just REALLY want to see a good, fun, interesting metal map instead of a horribly balanced and beautful looking map!!! 8) kudos for acting on meh request GenBlood, maybe ill review some of your (xta!!! ¬_¬) replays! :) i wish more ppl would play OTA or more ppl would post their replays...i'm a RR with no replays to review but my own!!!!!!

. Min3mat ... I've been converting old TA metal maps to TASpring
maps. I didn't want to use the same old texture. So, I found
alot of strange or different metal pic ... My next map ... will be
a mountain range with 3 pecks .... NOT a metal map ... 8)

I figure next week or the week after that ...

Also, another reason ... no one else is making metal maps ...

Get rid fo that funky blue texture, it lookswierd and is actually quite illusionary with regards to depth.

Alot better, but all the other different textures look a bit odd, they don't quite fit together. I think you need a more consistent theme.

The new textures look worlds better. That orange ramp texture still reminds me of straightup 1970s shag carpet though :)

Very patchworky. It's nice to use new textures, but try to give a sense of unity to your texture theme. Currently there's too many texture styles with completly different color styles.

Otherwise a map with streets, walls, plateaux, and ramps could be very interesting to play on.
