The turtle picture flickers ALOT for me (FireFox 3.6.10).

I think the picture flickers, because it's some kind of animated JPG (does that make it mjpeg?), which is neither accelerated nor at 24fps. But it doesn't need any plugin :)
Maybe it could be piped through ffmpeg to obtain mpeg or ogv?

Are those your turtles?
