If some people are interested, i can put a feeding-time indicator on the website

A new, better quality webcam is ordered for it.

i think they deserve own thread.
at the moment there are under attack by a giant finger.

I think the picture flickers, because it's some kind of animated JPG (does that make it mjpeg?), which is neither accelerated nor at 24fps. But it doesn't need any plugin :)
Maybe it could be piped through ffmpeg to obtain mpeg or ogv?
