it does seem interesting, but i didn't really get how gameplay is supposed to work? still seems kinda early regarding that?

Wow, now this is a kickstart! Wish they all started out like this.. basically done with the first strech goals, wanting money to buy furniture for the game.

Also you do get the game for real only after pledging 80 $ .. nice one.

I love the engine and tools. Really kicks the shit out of anything we have here.

That said, it's always inspiring to see what people can achieve alone - it makes one want to improve our shit .

The animation system sounds neat but it didn't look that great, had a resemblence to puppets.

I was thinking drunk people. I was more impressed with the environment and lighting/object placement

I believe they've written it themselves.

Overgrowth also has a custom built engine with easy to use features (vast majority of levels are user-made) and a much tighter combat system.

This looks pretty awesome as well. Although it is strange that they claim its GTA meets Morrowind as it reminds me of Neverwinter Nights more than either of those.
