btw, from what i understand SEO (search engine optimization) is used both as an attempt to boost owned site ranking and as a way to lower opponents' sites : google frowns upon SEO and harshly drops rating of sites that do it

hmm, does it also lower ranking of sites that unwillingly participate in SEO like spring is these days?
