I appreciate the vote of confidence but this is the second time a spring user has offered to pay me to do his homework. If you are having difficulty in a cs class ask on the forums, someone here can probably point you the right way before you end up at semester's end and stuck burred in a pile of tasks which are at that point beyond your ability.

Pros of asking for help or tips:
Getting a new perspective on possible coding solutions.
learning to work with others or bounce ideas off of them.
establishing a positive relationship
building character!

Please please do not offer to pay me for doing your homework as well. Despite what some of you may think i am an ethical person and I do feel such things are morally reprehensible.

Yeah, CS course are awful is you have (a) a bad teacher, (b) a bad text-book or (c) are being taught in a language you don't care about... if you are having difficulty you should ask your peers/teachers aids for help... if you are just lazy and want to pay someone to do your homework, I'm told that there are a number of people online who can provide this type of service and I, too, think it's amoral and hurtful to the future of our society... if YOU pay to have your homework done, other people will need to do so to keep up and then professors will give MORE homework and the cycle will continue until the only people who know anything are the people who are selling essays online and our culture will be overtaken by commercialism... oh wait.

They should learn to do their own programming anyway. They won't make it as a programmer in the industry if they can't program at all.

You would be suprised how many people can make it, without any good programming at all. A whole industry lives from cleaning up behind hoodlums.

But its one thing to try to avoid work completely, another to say, well is it worth to get specialised in every single subject, for a ridiculous amount of hours, and then depart from the ilusion of I-can-do-everything-myself&better and outsource stuff. Many people do this, its called OpenSource as long as you dont pay for it.. its just looked frown upon it.

You can ask me though, my rate is $2/LoC including whitespace and comments (hahahaha). I am proficient at Java and C/C++, and familiar with the opengl, sdl, and qt libraries.

It's true, I know several people in the industry who don't know any programming even though programming skills were a requirement on their CVs. It's an insult to all those that actually possess those skills but still get paid the same. No wonder they are outsourcing to india..

None of this makes any sense to me. In my CS courses the final exam was worth 40% or 50% or 60% or 70%. If you somehow got someone to do all your homework and ace it you'd still fail the exam and the course.

Is it unethical to pay others to do your MBA? I think that should be an automatic A+ since the primary outcome of such a degree appears to be a lifetime of skimming off the hard work of other people who possess useful talents.

If you cant do your course and need other people to be paid to do it for you, then your fucking yourself in the arse. Your spending money already to learn this stuff, and if you end up graduating and still not knowing it then your in a world of hurt when it comes to job prospects, holding onto jobs, and maintaining a good enough reputation to climb the ladder and get a salary you can live on.
