Seems to be working now for me too.. and lots of players on so I don't think it was down before. A symptom of some kind of problem?
Edit: I tried before (and failed to connect) with both springlobby and my own, so lobby choice shouldn't be the cause.. and it works with springlobby now.

It is the old, deprecated domain name (taspringmaster.clan-sy.com), that is linked to a no-ip DNS entry that I accidentally let expire for a few hours today, cause it was linked to an e-mail I seldomly use.
Fixed now, though the domain will disappear completely sometime in the future. Clearly this thread shows we better keep it around a bit longer though
btw, not that it matters really for this topic, but the main lobby runs on ueberserver since 1.5 years or so already, and TASServer was renamed to SpringLS.

Old habits die hard..I have a habit of referring to the lobby server as tasserver.

What is "this" ? How about starting the topic by introducing it.
Never2late2hate eh?
I don't bother to write an introduction anymore when a thinking person could figure things out from context. I won't waste time to enable forum trolls. The reason is no matter how well you formulate a thread, they will always appear and derail any serious thread given enough time.
In fact it does not make sense to write a serious post on this forum, as trolls always come along to do what they do. Since I'm not a moderator, I cannot clean up troll droppings in threads I started. This leaves the moderators, which mostly dislike me for various reasons(though they have not been able to ban me yet), so they don't bother to clean up and/or join in on the trolling. In other words, I'm fed up with it. Expect more threads like this in the future.

When I read your thread, I was logged in on the lobby. There were also many other players online. So it was obvious that the problem was that logging in does not work for you. Oh wait, it was not even obvious that you have a problem. wtf?

If you think so then it doesn't apply to you and there is no need to feel hit. As I said don't complain, I won't make any effort to write descriptive subjects. If you have an issue with that arrangement I'm glad, because I have an issue with my threads being trolled.
Edit: There are a lot of people on these forums that hit 'View active topics' then go in to troll based on first impression such as topic name or the first line of a post(since they don't bother to read further than that). A prime example is the CheeseLobby thread which was trolled repeatedly. I suppose perhaps lobby devs have to get mod rights on that sub-forum in order to clean up their own threads from trolls. It's pretty ridiculous that's even necessary. On the rest of the forum there is not even that option, so what's left is relying on moderators then which effectively means nothing.
