Re: Requests!
Requests - Scrap EXP hp gain This was actually just done (and probably morphing via exp to) Well, I personally like that units can upgrade into something completely different. I think it's useful. When you're using lab X and you've the opportunity to morph into a unit from lab Y, that's added value...

Re: CA Amphibs? What's going to happen with them?
Is it possible to make underwater weapons target hovercraft? It is part of the balance that underwater weapons can't target hovers, and vise versa. FLoating hlt can't hit subs; torp and dc launcher can 't hit hovers. It brings an interesting dynamic because you can exploit holes in your opponents d...

Wow I'm really glad you posted that. I was a fan of the original Star Wrecks some time ago but I didn't know they made anything this big.Teutooni wrote:Star Wreck ftw.

Re: new star trek film
Just saw it; haven't had this many nerdgasms since Transformers.
They did a great job paying tribute to the original. I wouldn't call it the perfect movie, but I would call it the perfect Trek remake.

Re: King of the Hill - CA
I have a couple suggestions. Maybe some banner at the start telling everyone its KotH, kind of like the communism one now. Although I should probably be asking Licho for that. Also maybe a KotH award, just to make it extra obvious to everyone who won the game at the end so you can really dig it in w...

How to tell if you're a noob at CA
I was a bit bored between classes so here's something I came up with. And no, I'm not planning on quiting my day job. Mostly a combination of tips, for CA and in general, and some humor. And yes, this is a minute of your life that you will never get back. You know you are a noob at CA if: 18. You lo...

Re: Mercenaries for planetwars
I rather liked how people not smart enough to read their pms even when told to do so were not allowed to playLicho wrote:New unregistered players are autotreated as mercenaries.
Otherwise an excellent addition to the game. Hopefully we can get some really good games going.

Re: EPIC REPLAYS
Real FFA tips: 1) be a jerk, rush one player with all your forces, posibly dying and certainly either crippling or killing enemy. 2) be a porcer. Sit back, dont attack anyone and get 2 nukes. Then ruin the game by killing random players 3) how to really use alliances - ally with everyone, use airco...

Re: Add zooming in the minimap?
This would be really awesome.
Maybe support for multiple mini maps too, something you could use to keep an eye on a couple different different fronts or maybe on your allies to make sure they are doing alright.

Maybe you guys should try playing glaive vs flash on a map other then comet catcher redux or dsd basin  I have found kbots to be quite viable on any map where their better slope tolerance can give them a bit of an advantage. Edit: I just did some tests Two glaives beat 1 flash with 1 glaive le...

Re: The balance formula thread
The use of a unit is not always determined by good stats, but often by the right combination and values. There is a huge difference between just outranging an LLT, and having the same range as an LLT. Try to think more in terms of unit relationships than pure numbers. This beautifully concise and r...

Re: Complete Annihilation News
How do core t1 bots counter mass rockos on a flat map (in this case titan duel) I dont think using clogger to box them and storms to kill em is fair (complex micro of 2 units vs line move skirmish). Dancing roaches would definitely be the best counter. If the Rockos are packed tightly together a ro...
