Re: Spring engine crashes when loading map on fedora 16
Could someone confirm that spring works fine on a 32 bit intel laptop running fedora 16? I have laptop with intel HD video card. In general, spring works fine on fedora 16 (85.0, 86.0, 87.0). I installed spring from fedora repo. In testing currently 87.0 But with intel HD video card I have lots of ...

Re: Syncing error when playing a multiplayer game?
I was expecting the mulithreaded version to be faster. I didn't see any difference, so I'll go back to the normal version.abma wrote:yeah, spring-mt 85.0 is broken it causes desyncs, don't use it... use spring.exe. (87.0 should be fixed, but mt is badly tested, so expect desyncs, too...)

Re: Syncing error when playing a multiplayer game?
infolog.txt please. which version did you play? it sounds like you where using 87.0 and all other players used 85.0? all players have to use the same version to get no sync errors. Could me running the multithread version of spring do anything? All of our spring engines are the same version. Here's...

Syncing error when playing a multiplayer game?
Hey guys, every time I play Tech Annihilation (latest version) and host, everyone's games become unsynced so everyone plays a different game. Spring keeps saying "Error syncing TangentDelta" followed by a packet ID. When I win in my separate, unsynced game, all of the other players get &qu...

Re: Spring engine crashes when loading map on fedora 16
Wow...I think it's something up with fedora 16... I just installed fedora on an old laptop, which has much better specs than my netbook, and discovered that it's doing the same exact thing! It was crashing when it was trying to load the ground decals, but by setting the ground decals to 0, it got a ...

Re: Official OS X app for 32-bit Intel Macs?
I don't get it. Is there not a 32 bit version of spring? The mac version runs just fine on my 32 bit mac.
Edit: My mac has a 32 bit duel core processor, but it's somehow running 64 bit applications just fine. Could the duel cores allow act like a 64 bit processor?

Re: Spring engine crashes when loading map on fedora 16
"Segmentation fault (SIGSEGV)" means, some code tries t dereference a pointer that is not set to a valid instance of an object. it happens in your graphic driver (Intel). turning off shadows (in spring settings file ~/.springrc, set Shadows=-1) is likely to make it work for you, but remem...

Re: Units be Bouncing
Lol, the bouncing is kinda annoying. I had a geo built in the middle of my base (a poor choice) in a game I was playing with my brother against a bot so I could teach him the strings of BA. The bot we were playing against had a strange fetish of light hovercraft scouts, and kept sending them over in...

Spring engine crashes when loading map on fedora 16
I'm running fedora 16 on a 32 bit acer netbook, and every time I try to launch a game, spring crashes. Infolog keeps saying that there was some error with segmenting the map, or something like that. The infolog is attached.

Re: Music lua widget broken on mac?
Lol, running the portable windows version in wine is not only more stable than the MacOSX version, but the lua music widget now works. Edit: Meh, I can't use the function keys in wine. F11 to open the widget tab makes my mac switch to a different application, and F12 opens up the stupid dashboard. L...

Replacing the music file with a short sound file instead doesn't crash it.

Re: Music lua widget broken on mac?
I've been wanting dynamic music for spring for a while, so I found this rather old music player script: What about recent music player widget? Here's one . Not dynamic, but at least we'll know if the issue comes from having a Mac or from Spring 84 having broken most old music widgets . Yep...still ...

Music lua widget broken on mac?
I've been wanting dynamic music for spring for a while, so I found this rather old music player script: http://springfiles.com/spring/lua-scripts/ota-music-player-adv When I start a new game, spring plays for like 2 seconds, with music, and it just crashes. The infolog has nothing in it, except that...

Re: SpringLobby for Mac OS X: alpha pre-release
I can't seem to change the size of the "add bots" window, no-matter how much random clicking I do. Is there a file somewhere in the bundle that I can mess with to change it to something bigger?
Edit: Also, any way to disable all of these debug messages?

Crash right before game starts
Hello, I'm running spring on Fedora linux on my netbook, and every time I try to start a game, the engine crashes. Seem like a memmory problem, but I can't be too sure. I attached my log for you guys.
