Invisible Tiles below Buildings

Wouldn`t it be usefull if below Buildings Moders could turn the Terrain invisible - so we could have Cellars for Buildings (you know those classic Elevators who bring tanks out of the Deep Celar to the Surface..

Have you tried ground decals? They do just this - replace the terrain under buildings with a specified texture.

nope and they also do not rotate with the building picasso

And grass grows through the grounddecals and lower parts of the building... which looks and always has looked strange.

but seriously picasso this would be cool but is not currently possible, though what you would do with a hole in the texture map would be beyond me unless it was preciesly alphaed due to some texture..
