Modelling Humans

For Spring of course, I have one, but I feel its not very efficient, or good looking...
700 tris or so...
Anybody got tips?

well, here is my shot at it (this is supposed to be a heavily armored soldier, think halo or starwars storm/clonetrooper):
About 900.
It's nowhere near perfect. You might also want to look at the SWTA stuff.

As for tips, look at the human form. Look at proportional guides and of course pictures of what you're making.
