AA 3.1 (Classic)

Pretty much all credits go to Nixa on this cause I didn't really do anything

I think Fox and Quantum helped out as well :P


For those who didnt read the other thread:

This mod brings back core AA2.11 gameplay with some bug fixes and general fixing up.

Some points

-T3 is back in full

-Fighters are effective vs ground

-Stuff that had impulse has impulse again (Notably: Gollies)

-Solars cost E

-T1 MM's are back to their old E cost

-T1 Radar sees alot



For those who dont know what 2.11 gameplay was like:

2.11 was a more volatile game, alot of things could drastically alter the course of the game despite how it was currently playing out. Units aren't as balanced against each other as they are in BA but if you are a casual player you probably wont notice much difference.

In a line: AA is easier to win and easier to lose

easier to win once you find out which unit is overpowered in this praticular version

Lemme think - I'm pretty sure it was Mavs or Gators (or both) for that version.

Caydr is not a god.

Worst case if he does we call it GoatAnnihilation Classic or something.

And yes the goal of this is to keep changes to a minimum. You're going to be seeing mostly bugfixes. Other than that, learn how to deal with shit :P

like i said nice to see more forks. But also we rather named BA to AA... but caydr didn't let us... so we didn't. He did a lot of work for our community so imo he deserves a little respect.

nixa, I am getting close to a new release of gundam 1.11, I will be releasing the next version of my effects pack with it. If you are interested, I can pm you when I make the releases.

cadyr isnt a god yes, but he was decent guy who made the mod that most people now attribute the creation of to day and the lads. he left spring due to problems with his health according to his website. People joining since the ol' flamewar dont even know who he is. He didnt know squat about balancing but that isnt a reason for people to speak badly about him.
AA is his mod, BA is a balanced version of his mod, this is a balanced version of his mod. dosnt matter if you rename it really. its still his mod with a few bells and whistles n balance changes. I dont see why AA is any worse than BA.
Its a tribute to his efforts that his mod is still in the limelight.
