It's a japanese indie ("dojin") metroidvania game and it's awesome. Also it's hilarious (giant cat photoshop boss FTW!). The above link only has a demo, though (link is in the second to last box on the website with the (7,760,411byte) behind it).

After you get the second time container you can rewind time by holding the time key.

Oh and there's Engage to Jabberwock which is freeware now and can be described as a bullet hell Zelda.

omg, do you study japanology?

well, even if i wanted to play that game, i have absolutely not idea of kanji nor japanese :roll:

Yeah. Won't there be a major language barrier? Hardly anyone here will know hiragana or katakana. Let alone the kanji.

many people play games not knowing a word in it, even rpgs


you can use a guide or learn the hard way, gameplay becomes more mechanical (as you dont get hints) but "metroidvania" games are mechanical anyway

I don't speak Japanese but there isn't much to understand about this (except maybe jokes in the dialogue). You won't be able to read the hint signs which increases the difficulty but I've made it through Tourian without those (yes, I have the full version). Only the time powers aren't intuitive.
