Radar Confusion

So we have radar jamming and stelthing...but SupCom did something really cool that I've used to devastating effect against the enemy. The URC level one frigate is relatively weak, compared to the other sides, but it is far more dangers because it projects fake radar signatures. Meaning two of them look like an entire fleet on radar, making the other player flip out and send their entire fleet to handle it while you sneak your real fleet in and start blowing shit up.

The first time I did it too my friend, he swore at me for entire minuets. hehehehe...it got me into one of his island bases, that tactic sure did. Then on out he'd fly spy planes over supposed fleets to see which is which. Still confused the crap out of him. So I was thinking that Spring could use this. Maybe a: "FakeSig:" tag, the number denoting how many fake signatures there are?

I'd write a patch, but the only thing I'm good at writing are posts and full length novels, not C+ or whatever Spring uses.

What do you guys think?

Would be nice but difficult to implement without being too specific.

Also I believe you mean UEF, not URC. Though it'd fit the URC's style and Supcom does remind me a bit of EE or Earth (Humans, Robots and an Alien-tech powered Matriarchy?).

I heard of it but when I downloaded it, I realised it was merely an ultra cheap useless unit that you could spam alot it.

I suggested this elsewhere before we actually had access to Supreme Commander. Caydr and Smoth have both independently told me that, while interesting, we do need engine support for it.

I think it is, obviously, a good idea. Of the current mods, it may fit in with E&E, but aside from that, it is a move for future mods.
