Why is this game do damanding ?

My system is:
AMD Opteron Dual-Core 170 @ stock w/ stock cooler
Abit KN8U
SB250+80GB ata100
Audigy 2 ZS w/ inspire 5200
Inno3D 7900GT @ stock w/ Zalman vf900Cu
Corsair Value Select 1GB (2x512MB kit) DDR400 CL3
Spire RocketeeR IV 600W ATX
MX530
Viewsonic VX2025WM
Antec SLK3000B w/ 2x12CM+8CM fans
2x optical dvd burners
XP PRO SP2 5600
And it used to run Spring 7B1 fine at max and a great fps, but b3 runs soo bad at the same detail levels why is this ?
BTW my settings are @ max No AA 1680x1050
Someone help me to get this game to run smoothly on high again

A: turn off dynamic water, it eats jiggahurts like I eat speedmetallers' souls
B: in the nvidia control panel, turn on the dual core optimizations (or off, if they're already on...I can't remember)

But i love my water and it used to run fine before..................
Wont turning off DC Optimizations make other games run worse ?
My videocards drivers are Betas 93.81.
Why has this game started running so bad ?

There have been loads of threads about this..
1. DL the AMD duel core drivers
2. Check the NVIDIA optimisations thing
3. Profit
same happened to me ages ago, ran fine, DLed new drivers, spring went down to single figure FPS from triple figure FPS. It's not synamic water thats slowing you down that much, i always have it on myself. It's purely a Driver problem which many people have had before.

Just turn it off in the profile for spring.exe only...

So its my videocard drivers causing problems, ill look into that, i already have AMD`s Dual Core Optimiser Drivers.
Ill disable DC in Nvidia profile, thanks for the heads up btw.
