yes, however, it's AF's map AI and he hasn't seen fit to update it to the current spring version.

I really want it back tho, that thing was frickin handy.

+1000. Definitely the most useful groupAI after metalmakerAI. Theres some maps I would like to remake (texture more than anything else) and all the source files are on my old PC in the depths of harddrive madness. Someone give AF a hardy poke :)

What map is it. Maybe the one that made it can send you the
height map of it.

The latest dev build of L3DT pro can do that, post a link to the map and I will extract the heightmap for you.

You load the map in L3DT and export the heightmap.

Holy thread resurrection Batman!

I posted that in February and believe me when I say I have no clue why I wanted that or of what map i wanted a heightmap of.

That said, I appreciate everyones willingness to help :-)
If i ever find out why i wanted that I'll be sure to let you know.

Interestingly, you can also export the texture. In fact, I remade riverdale the other night (not releasing to anyone, I was just screwing around :) using the original texture with some Photoshop modifications.

You know a thread is old when you don't even remember posting in it. ^^

So the latest l3dt can export not only the heightmap but also the texture-map!?!!? That is really cool since I still haven't been able to retrieve the source files to some of my older maps off my old hard-drive..

It can also export the metal and feature maps.
