Is it just me, or do units not really explode at all when they die anymore? Usually there is a minuscule puff of smoke as the model is replaced my the wreckage model. Sometimes there are bits of wreckage that fly off, which looks cool when it happens, but gets kind of old. Nothing actually makes a fireball like I seem to remember happening in older versions of spring.

Maybe its because of the lag, or because there is no real reason for all units to explode since they have not been made to explode.

Play OTA if you want to see some nice explosions. There is a "pop" to them that Spring just doesn't have.

depends a lot on the mod too, you can make explosions as big and fast as you want...

Because they are based on the units individual script.

Sry guys, it was a invite-only beta that night. There is still a lot of work to be done.

Hopefully the final version of BOTA 1.5 will be out by the end of next week.
