Spring RTS Engine

Hi ... heres a very strange game on Green Comet Basic - XTA.

Both 3 players are doing insane errors, and you'll think you would know who would win after 5 minutes.
However theres quite a lot of surprises ...

Replay includes :
- Expanding, porcing, attacking
- Heavy defenses, no defenses
- commander defense
- krogoths
- nukes
- fleas
- sniper
- goliaths
- dumb moves
- dumb "should have moved"s
- impressive survival / recover
- ...

and a lot of stuff

Its hard to tell who wins in the end =) (at least you can say 1 doesnt)

Its because those players are "not-so good" that this game is so surprising =)

That's a large replay, how long does it last?

That was the most crazy retarded match ever. These are new levels of stupidity never witnessed by mankind before. I hate all three of those players for the plague they bring, particularly green (really poor unit management) and pink (impossible luck).

Two things come to mind when watching that replay:

1. Green you idiot

2. Damn XTA textures and effects are so much better than AA (and it's forks BA etc...)

Mmm me likes long replays. they make me sleep like a baby on the keyboard, no matter how interesting they are. Smug replays are an exception however, they're exciting no matter how tired I am.

Its like watching an old lady get mugged. Its painful. And you think you shouldn't watch. But you can't take your eyes away.

And then the mugging takes over 2 hours because the old lady has a surprising amount of fight......

That was some serious paint chip-eating, white-out huffing retarded fun.
Like when 4 goliaths could have ended the game an hour earlier.
Also a very nice example of rezzing to the max - not practical in BA.

I like when the pink com got hit by arty - you can almost feel his pain as he staggers backward.

God that was sad.

As mentioned, those were ... bizzare way of playing to say the least, but I reaaly had some fun watching it =P

Noruas microing was really excellent, true. But his opponents were... oh well, you know, you watched it too :D

Nevertheless, very entertaining.

There are thousands of spambots registered on the forums, but ever since that measure was taken, not one has managed to post anything. That isn't dumb, that's good spambot protection ^_^

That was a stupid-long replay, and I watched all of it at real time. Never again!

However, I did learn quite a few interesting facts (number-facts) just by watching it. Though, I am pretty new to Spring, so that's only to be expected. And the early-game commander defense was impressive, to say the least - too bad he lost it eventually.
