I know it is popular to type words like "you" and it's kind in shorter way as "u" and so on. But it gives very bad feeling about writer and it makes more harder to read them, search messages or even find them via google.
So wouldn't it be much nicer if all would forget those *stupid* lame words in messageboards and even try to type good english?

evry u w/e etc are good
but whn it crosses the line into full blown 1337 speak it turns from shorthand to hacker wannabee.

in however long ive been using the internet i dont think i could think of a single instance where someone has typed in leet speak un-ironically apart from display names and things.

There's more errors than that in his post.
I believe the original topic was about shortening words even knowing how to write the full words though.

im ok with some of it as in you becomes u, but stuff like u3er and other "text speak" is acually more difficult to read
