I play with hardly no lag and when i want to watch the Replay it lags. Why? Is there any bug?

Is it the same amount of lag the game had?

No, its much more laggy, and if i pause it i can move normally but when depress pause it becomes laggy again

that's because you're probably running it in X3 speed or something and your CPU cant take it...

I have noticed it also.

And neddie was watching a replay from a game I was in and the thing started laging at a point where the game was running smoothly.

If you run the replay at speed 1, it could be caused by the fact that in replay mode, spring doesn't monitor CPU usage. It just runs at the speed you specify, while in-game it slowly decreases internal game speed if CPU-% gets higher, so in game the lag would be less noticable.

Yes, but what should i do to make the demos to not lag (they lag even in 1x speed)?

 No matter what, i think that in demos should be a play -bar with which you will be able to indicate which part of the demo you want to see. The "see the whole demo in order to see a specific scene" style is boring

Good idea.

That isn't possible with the current demo format.

Then you may could change the current demo format with one that will support this feuture

Feel free to submit a patch, however allowing that sort of stuff would probably result in a much larger filesize for demos.

It could take a "snapshot" of the game every 5 minutes or something...which would also enable resyncing and midgame player entry.

Resync is already being worked on atm, though I don't know how it's being implemented.

In games like Age of Empires you tick the record game button and it is recorded*

In other games you first play and then deside if you want to save the replay or not *

This is the first game where i see the "record&play and then decide if you want to delete the demo" style

I think that a format with a Play bar will not affect the in- game by taking screenshots

EXPLANATION of (*): In these 2 types there is a play-bar in the demos , the game is not lagging beause of the taking of screenshots or what (it is lagging because of the players connection speed). So it will be ok (i guess) if will put similar demo format to TA
