Yeah it did work. Although I would disagree with the assumption that 98% of the population would answer ****** as the answer is entirely dependent on that cultural relativity of the participant does not deviate from the question's origin.

I dont quite get it... Maybe its just because I really havent eaten a vegtable in the past 10 years... but how would "six" have anything to do with carrot. I hate carrots, potatoes are the real winners (especially when thinly sliced and fried in oil).

I'd wager a guess that if you ask me to quickly think of a vegitible 90% of the time I'd say carrot irrelevant of whatever crap you made me do before. I'd also probably not say carrot if I had just spent all day working with celery or something, irrelevant of having to say 6 a bunch of times.

First time I did this I thought eggplant.

Funny, I immediately thought, "squash", because of the shape. Ah well.

I thought visually of lettuce, but said carrot in my head =s

I didnt managed to do the test, because i readed Relatives post before seeing the test, and the fact that he commented about the relativenes of someone chosing carrot made it impossible for me to chose something other than carrot... (they didnt had puted those **** there yet)

I think the 6 thing is just to prevent you from thinking much and answer with the first thing that comes to mind (took me a few seconds to even remember what counts as a vegetable).

Dammit i dont feel special anymore...
