Gold is the final release for the stores. Though a lot of games are sold in beta state... :P

A notable two would be Dark Messiah and Vampires: Bloodlines

But I still loved those to pices. After the beta, I'm not so sure that SupCom will be the second comming. But from the previews I've read, they have REALLY improved the game in the beta.

It happens, I know, shocking. So I think it's worth a purchase.

I'll still play spring though.

Supcom was a let down for myself as well. Although I'm really interested in what modders will create with the engine. Hopefully they will release a stand alone map editor so I can port my maps without even buying the game. :)

Judging from the beta, SUPCOM is all in the hands of modder to make it popular tbh

spamspamspam gets boring

yea that

i remember all the discussion about the spring community being torn apart by supcom. for better or worse, i don't think we really have to worry about that anymore... :|

Way too much comes out in February. Personally I'm keeping an eye on Maelstrom.

Supcoms defences are uber. Lines of Point one defences backed up with Tech 2 and Some shields will stop EVERYTHING. Seriously, I built ~700 tech one units, ~4 (Guardian Equivilent) Gunthers on his front lines, used ~4 Heavy artillerys, ~100 Tech 2 units and ~50 Siege assualt bots to try and break a defence like that, and no succes. He even spammed AA when he had no knowladge of my Plane army.

As soon as it is released, I'm gonna make a mod to change things I dislike. Defences should be good, but not so good they stop everything and are difficult to outrange :/

Stop me if im mistaken but It seems to me that SupCom is a porc fest.. its like playing on Speedmetal.. the lower teir units are outclassed by the defences and the experimental units that there seems to be no point to building them once you can make experimental units, the exception maybe being fighters to provide air cover for your base though even that Im not to sure about. The end result is that you have people spamming the lvl 4 uber units at each other because only they stand a chance of breaking through the defences or dealing with the enemies teir 4 units.. The monkeylord kills pretty much any lower level unit in about a .25 second sweep of its doom beam, and some of the other tech 4 units are worse. Only massive porc defences can stand up to a lvl 4 unit, conversly only a lvl 4 unit has a chance to breach said defences. These units also have NO weaknesses aside from costing more, they all have point defence weapons, and AA weapons, and the ones that can go underwater have torpedoes as well, no matter where they go they are not vulnerable in any significant way...

Fang, add super units and super super units to EE and halve the costs of everything and you have the same problem.

your point.. EE doesnt have halved costs, nor super super units..
