France asked for union with Britain under Queen Elizabeth II in 1956
What an odd finding. Makes you wonder what sort of crazy sh*t is going down today that we're going to learn about 50 years from now.

I read the same Article in a Newspaper and there was a Photo of the Qeen... Nice.. even Queens are not born as Old Ladys... :)

LOL, this is one of the most refreshingly ammusing news articles i've read in ages.
Whats really funny is that while playing as France in Medieval II, i had made an alliance with britian during the early campaign just to keep them off my back for a while. At the time i thought it to be the most fucked up thing i could ever do in a game. But now its kinda funny.
