Spring RTS Engine

Just picked one of these up, does anyone know any good (free) software that I can use to convert my dvd's and mpegs to the mp4 format that the ipod can understand?
Any help would be greatly appreciated as Im not exactly computer literate, Machio knows this.... it took him a whole 10 minutes to walk me through setting up team nano spray, and Im not even gonna mention how long it took Cabbage to help me get my bit torrent thing up and running

The lack of curry over here is quite disturbing actually, its only a matter of time though, Canada will surely succumb to the power of the mighty Dhansak sooner or later!

u know whats amazing?? i have absolutley no clue as to what steve just said in that last post. I mean, he could have smashed his face on the keyboard a couple of times and i probably would have been better off...
