FPS = 6

So after the new update, I cant get my FPS to go above 11. This only occurs when there are other players in the game. If I'm in single player, or someone quits in a 1v1, for example, the FPS jumps back up to 65-70, where it used to be all the time.
My computer is a piece of crap, i know, but I've never had problems in the past. I updated all my drivers, including that of my networking card. I tried both my wired and wireless connections.
Basically, I cant play spring until i get this fixed.

Its pretty bad, but as I said, i've never had problems like this before. I usually get 40-60 FPS depending on whats on the screen. I've never had 6-8.
1.5ghz Celeron M
Intel Integrated Graphics
768mb RAM
Yeah, I need a new computer, but I'm getting one this month:
1.7ghz pentium M
ATI Mobility Radeon 9600 Pro
1gb RAM

How the hell were you getting 60/70 FPS before? I can't get better than about 35 fps on my laptop, which much is better than your current computer, even after lowering the settings.

Thats with nothing on screen, at the very start of the game before a single structure has even been built.
Help? Anyone?

With similar specs to yours, my framerate has been comparable to that all along...

Well, maybe you're experiencing the same thing, but dont know it. You could be cruising along at 40fps

Dammit why won't my laptop with a discrete graphics card do better than that.

Its best is 35fps or so at start.

I play with everything on low...
Is anyone able to help? I'm supposed to go to a Spring LAN this weekend.

I've noticed that ingame there are huge lag spikes from random things in the debug menu. Each game I play seems to have a different thing that spikes really high.
In this screenshot, it happened to be "Drawing Sky". (i run on the very basic sky, no high res, no dynamic)

ZOMG!
If we can find a way to fix this, P3374H could run spring as his computer should, and so could I.

Woah, you can play on integrated graphics? I've got to try this out on my laptop.
Success!! (15 FPS with 500 units on screen)

That really isn't much of an upgrade. The ATI 9600 is outdated and the Pentium M isn't getting any younger. How much are you paying for that? Do you need help with getting a spec (system)? I could (as well as most other hardware junkies on here) help you with that if you want.
Edit: O wait, that's a laptop, sorry.

I'm hoping that this problem will somehow fix itself in the next release (beta3)
