I am also willing to do the work by myself, if someone can give me hints, what i have to do to get it running with TA:Spring properly
this is my old unit pack i developed for TA:Core Contingency. You can start the game with it but some buildings (especially Mech Lab) does generate errors and following crash. (these errors just happen in TA:Spring, it's working for original TA with CC installed)
If anyone is interested in fixing the expansion, feel free to download and modify it. There are some balance glitches like Mad Cat Mech (superior Rockets) and some Starfighter (superior speed) <- both arm units. This should be fixed but rest of mod is very funny :).
As i have modified several weapon id's (no orignial ones - just added new ones) you have also interesting devastating weapons.

lol .. just tried it out.
The Berta Defense Shield has a really nice effect in TA:Spring. The force field was invisible in TA now it is a Black Shield. (recharging and nearly undestructable as long as you can maintain it with about 7000 energy)
And you have to try out the "Heavy Precision Laser Defense" in first person, it sucks 9000 energy when firing but it is worth it :p
