YAY!!! my lovable tactic of a comeback from the depths of the sea is all the more possible now!!
WATCH THE OCEANS PEOPLE!!! FOR THE ARM-LOVING WATER-PROOF ROBOTS COME FROM THE DEPTHS!! MUHAHAHA!!!
Robots not 100% able to claim victory, base weaknesses may include, but not to the extent of, sonar, torpedo bombers, krows, land, world of warcraft, boredom, disconnection, loose cables, lack of energy, faulty metal, blinking lights, forceful download of programs that allow spring to control your PC like skynet and other random acts of god. Loyalties of robots towards arm may or may not be 100% perfected. Underwater units may be subjected to a underwater-usage toll and fee. Units not of allied side may be subjected to the "pirate" tax laws and unknown, unexplained and overpowered use of firepower. Robots may or may not be equipped with underwater modification's which allow a machine to operate under the stress of water presser / leaky pipe. Results may vary depending on costs, setup fees and enemy abilities. usage of underwater robots may have the unexplained cause of explosions, implosion and rust. Internet connection may or may not effect performance. Underwater Robots are not for everyone, consult your commander/ builders before use.

thou stealest ones tiny letters and symbols, go forth tiny letters and reclaim thy kingdom of tinyness for the Cookie King!
*thousands of asterixes and ampersands march upon the underwater robot fanatics of gilgamesh, commars and windows logos are slashed to pieces by spinning asterixes and squashed udner giant ampersands*

The rocks being nerfed is better, but there is ALOT of metal in the ocean considering that usually 1 team gets to monopolize it all. Ideally I think you'd have 4-5 metal spots in the ocean and 2 of those on each side able to be defended from land via the depth charge launchers.

Having played the old version to BITS over and over and over its nice to see a variation to witch in the contrary; wont have a winning streak pending on grabbing all the rocks first!
Ive played and watched many a game of the old version, it is clearly apparent that players who dont know the map get PWNED by other players whom know its best to get at least one player going vtol and reclaiming all the rocks.
Ive yet to play this version but i do hope it puts an end of this "rush rock nabbing or loose" scenario. It just got laim after a while.
Personally ide much like to see more gargantuous maps, but holding the high ground or pockets of high tidal water as the main tactile points to hold rather than just rocks.

whats so bad about that
i'd say people are split about half and half between the original and this version. since its such a popular map it's not a problem to have the variety!
