Atlas/Valkyrie can pick up cloaked units

Both Air transports can pick up cloaked enemy units if you do an area load.

I spotted the enemy commander and lost my scouts, then when my atlases arrived at his location he was cloaked, I told my atlases to load and dragged out the area I had spotted him in incase I had just missed him.
They picked him up and boom :)

Noticed in BA 4.41, happens in both BA and XTA.
Com was in hold fire during tests, line of site to location cloaked units are in is not required.

This is probably a good way to find and kill cloaked snipers ;) lol.

Did you still have radar coverage?

Patch submitted to Mantis.

Edit: note that you will not be able to transport your own cloaked units with this patch applied either, although why you'd want to do that is an interesting question. ;)

You may want that if the transport can cloak too.

so let me get this straight, after this patch, if i want to transport a cloaked unit i gotta uncloak it, load it, move it, unload it, and then recloak it?? that seems like a massive pain in the ass... not to mention that there are other mods/situations out their where transporting cloaked units is done.

A better question is what happens if you recloak the unit while it is in transit??

if an enemy unit is cloaked and off radar, then you should not be able to pick it up. It should be able to clock/uncloak once in the transport.

otherwise,cloak/uncloak should not affect whether or not a transport picksup/unloads, or how it picks up/unloads.

I fixed it a bit, it only skips loading cloaked enemy units and enemies outside LOS now. Loading cloaked allies works as before.

This isn't about what happens when unit is in the transport, that behaviour hasn't changed.
