The best specials are the block girl's. Get her and occasionally a special special will come up rather then her blocking, then depending on the girl she was about to block you get obnoxious specials like 5x damage or bounce that makes you gain 2x height and 2x speed on each flat ground bounce rather then losing speed.

Um, hit the guy with the bike. Try to make him hit as many boost girls as possible and as few slow and angle guys as possible. Don't let him hit the stop girl when he doesn't have a stop girl special (you can see what specials he has on the little special box, they change occasionally, it's best to try to special every time you hit something, to activate a special just hit the mouse when it shimmers and says "special")

When they guy is on screen you can use mid air specials, they don't boost as much as the boost characters do but they give you control. When the guy is headed upwards and on screen you can use a knock down special which knocks him back to the ground, perfect for hitting the right girl when you have very little horizontal momentum. When the guy is approaching the ground and on screen the mid air special is red and knocks him back up, adding a small percentage of your current horizontal and vertical momentum, when you REALLY have him flying use these to prolong your air time and minimize the risk of hitting something that will slow him down.

The block girl can be a blessing or a curse, on the one hand if she blocks your boost you will just bounce and it will lose you some speed, on the other if you actually hit her special it's about a million times more useful then hitting any other character's special. The longer your airtime the more likely you are to hit her specials, so if possible aim at her when you are really flying (it's usually more of a luck thing then an intentional thing).

Basically always hit something rather then bounce if you can help it. If you know positively that you are going to bounce or hit a slow guy and you can aerial boost yourself then do. Also the stop girl special usually end's it's availability after you bounce, you you are most at risk of being prematurely stopped if you are headed towards the ground after you have bounced once.

and "right time" is the when SPECIAL blinks onscreen

I'll explain :

You begin by "crashing" into the guy.

Once you're in the air, you can click mouse1 to get boosts.

The type of boost (upward or downward) depends on the color of the word AERIAL on the side.

If it's blue - down.

If it's red - up.

You get SPECIAL for being in the air or after you hit a boost girl.

If you hit that girl while her picture is in the SPECIAL Box, instead of getting the regular effect you get aprox 3 seconds to press mouse1 while the world SPECIAL is on screen - do it for pwnaj.

Boost girls have yellow, blue and red square borders.

Red is the most powerful (or so I think).

The green girl is the STOP girl - immediately stops you, her special - if you actually manage to trigger, since it goes away at the very first bounce on the ground - is VERY powerful.

The Purple girl is the BLOCK girl.

She'l block boost and stop girls - but not do anything about the angle up/down and slowdown guys, if you get lucky and you get a BLOCK VS C.F.F - you'l be boosted upwards, turn into green and gain 2x speed/height on boosts (or so I think).

I suppose that's all .
