Spring RTS Engine

Playing an altored team game earlier on today, enemy comm moves forward into LOS, so i attack with gators and riot tank, he turns to flee, then suddenly vanishes never to be seen again. The guy does a ctrl+c, no sign, he's just...GONE.

If this is a bug with BA then i'm worried but i assume its just some crazy random fluke bug with spring that will never show its face again, although I wish i could learn how to teleport like this boy does....

Found this pretty funny when it happened. Pretty harsh to be controlling your boy then suddenly he just dissapears and is never seen again. I think there may be a flicker just as it happens as if his comm goes at extremely high pace in one direction (i.e. off the map spinning in air) but i'm not entirely sure. Decide for yourselves:)

Actually - if you watch the replay in slomo - you'll see the comm suddenly move at high-speed towards the south-west. Several seconds later, he appears as a corpse falling from the sky in the very south-west corner. I didn't see what actually triggered the sudden... hyper-velocity departure, however.

I think you'll find he got one of the questions the keeper of the bridge of death asked. It's a pretty common fate im afraid

Old spring bug ^^. I remember when either Noize or Daywalker (not sure which) loaded commander on transport and he vanish, then he appeared on completly other side of map ^^.
