Go build an NTai config!

If it requires coding, count me out...

The codings already been done.

And to top it off you neednt muddle through hundreds of lines of TDF configs as NTai toolkit is all graphical, point and click!

Ok, I'll give it a try as soon as .net framework 3.0 installs.

(Odd... I should have it already... I am a VB.net programmer...)

.Net 3? I thought the current version was .Net 2? I have v2, are you on Vista at all?

AAI should work if you go into its mod folder and find the file named AASS***.cfg and change the numbers there to the latest version (223 IIRC)

It doesn't.
All AI scripts give me this right when the game starts:

.Net 3 is .Net 2 with some extra packages; no changes to the existing packages (in theory). The extra packages are things like Indigo or it's replacement.

note quite, for example there are 2 variants of C# for F# style functional programming, and a number of extra syntax additions

What about my AI problem, here?

AAI works with latest official release, just copy a config file from the old config files. Ie copy and rename the aa config file to ba44.cfg. if you play balanced annihilation 4.4 etc.
They're in ai/aai/config/mod or something like that.

I think i'm having the same type of problems as ss2man45, I cant get certain versions AAI to work and after the game starting countdown it freezes for a second and then serves me the "spring.exe has encountered a problem" window. I'm having AI problems in general also, the only AI I've got to work properly is AAI(Some builds work), I've tried KAI, OTAI, and NTAI and none have worked eventhough I thought I installed them correctly(Though I think I've almost got NTAI to work)

Not the same type, THE SAME problem...

With NTai not working what exactly happened?

Is that the NTai in the NTai Toolkit? If you tried any other version it'll crash instantly.

I tried NTai and it did the same as the above error, and the toolkit you said doesn't work on it's own and you need to write a better doc.

What I said in the toolkit thread was a simple howto on how to get a builder or factory building in NTai, and there's loads of little labels and messages across toolkit, and I'll be adding many more, you must appreciate I've released 7 versions in the last 2 days addressing bugs and making the thing easier to use.

Also can you at least look for AI logs? AAI and NTai have logging folders.

And provide more info than 'it crashes', what OS? what cpu? does ti support SSE instructions? Graphics card even? The mods you tested with and the maps? Even the contents of the error report from that window you took a screenshot of? Info the debugger gives you when you press debug button in that window? What settigns your spring is running with?

And what do you mean 'doesnt work on its own', you mean your trying to look for a "NtaiToolkit.dll" in the lobby? That wont work. NTai Toolkit is a C# program for building NTai configs, and it comes with an NTai.

And you need to work on your punctuation

If you think you're that good, do a doc for AF then
