Spring RTS Engine

When my screen changes resolution my monitor auto adjusts to the new resolution.


The problem with this is initially spring doesnt show anything but a few white words on a black background so when it finishes autoadjusting the loading screens show and the whole image is shifted 30% to the left, and my minimap is offscreen and I have a big black abr and have to press autoadjust manually.

The immediate solution to this is to draw 2 white lines at the corners at the very edge of the visible screen, or just to make the very corner pixels a non black colour maybe a dark gray.

I'd say this is a problem with your monitor, not with spring. Every decent monitor I've seen remembers the settings for a number of resolution/refresh rate combo's.

This only ever happens with spring, possibly because its running at 1272x766 due to another bug that prevents me using my native resolution of 1680x1050 and then attempts to pad out the screen with blank blocks of colour for most resolutions except the standard 4:3 ones.

And I have seen it with other models of TFT screen too.

At most this would require the drawing of 2 pixels, one in the top left corner and one in the bottom right.
