Joining the Football team!

For Central High School...

Reasons why:
Stress relief
I have a naturally violent nature
I've got a big frame (Not quite built, trying to get there though!)

Reasons why not:
Can't throw or catch for shit
Hope it doesn't kill out my chances for modding/game developing...

Can't wait to bust some mother fuckers up!

Football, fuck yeah.

I was recruited for my high school football team but declined, one of the big things I regret in my life.

Is this American Football or Soccer?
i think you meant American Football, so the answer is this. IT TAKES A LOT OUT OF YOU and the day as well. but you will still have time to mod, but it depends if you can survive.

Ask yourself how much you enjoy your knees, and how much you would enjoy them if it hurt to walk.

Ehhh, you won't get hurt much as it is American Football. If this were Association Football/Soccer, I'd worry. I've seen enough guys get ALS reconstructions.

I was always of the opinion that football was a big hole to throw down life and limb into. But thats coming from Mr. I spend 250 out of school hours in Marching band + some for sectionals, so just consider me a hypocrite.

I played football two or three years ago, its gunna be a bit worse this time, but a lot funner. I was kinda chunky back then, too XD

Football hurts getting crunched, but remember, I'm probably not gunna have the ball anyway. Then its just me vs. the guy in front of me, and more if I finish him fast

Just don't sacrifice your acidemics to go for Football, like the guy who was really good at football, but revealed when he got to collage that he coulden't read, but they kept covering it up because he was so good at football...

That might be an urban legend. And, of course, read: That's right, bag my grocieries

Mmmm Madox...he always has some kind of answer in some kind of impolite way or another...

Don't worry zoombie, I am a A to C Student, with the percentages of my grades C (20%) B(40%) A(40%)

So I should be fine, I'm more worried about modding etc. then I am about academics

Good, good...

But, one last thing you must think of: Are you REALLY sure you don't want to joing Marching band?

Positive, I can walk for hours on end, and I would prefer not to :P

How often do you get to crunch someone in marching band...?

More often then you'd think...

Id say the question is; how often do you get crunched in a marching band?
That is reason enough for me to make that choice.
Not that im in one, but given the choice of foolball vs band i know which one id pick.

The best thing about Band is the fact that, once you march off the feild after Campion ships, and you realize that you're never going to march that show again, you go home. Then you wake up next saturday and realized, "Hey...I actually get to spend Saturday at home."

You sit in bed, looking at the wall.

"What should I do for the next twelve hours?"

Then on Tuseday, you get home from school finish everything before six o clock, and then remember you don't have band anymore.

You sit in your chair, looking at the wall.

"What should I do for the next three hours?"

It's very very strange and has happened to me every single time I've been in Marching Band.

Do a sport, it rocks! Doesn't matter what it is really as long as it involves strenuous exercise.

As long as you don't let it take over your life to the exclusion of everything else it'll do you the world of good.

@ Zoombie

I kow what you mean. I train 3 times a week and exercise/stretch on most days. When you devote sucha big chunk of your free time to soemthing it can be sooooo nice when you get a chance to sit back and relax :-)

It's half nice, half...weird. You're so used to filling that time that it's weird to go back.
