First hand use of the Wii

I take back every doubt I had about the Wii. After playing four hours of Zelda and five hours of Red Steel, I have concluded that not only does the 'wiimote' work as a game playing system, it works VERY well as a gameplaying system. It's fun, it's easy to use, and its really cool.
Also you can buy 2 and a half wii's for the price of a single PS3...and you won't get shot while standing in line for it.

Sweeet.
Is it true the Wii is actually fairly small?

It's really small, actually. If an X-box is the size of my monitor, then a Wii is the size of half of a third of my monitor.

One sixth?

Ehh, I'd say, in general, it's more like a fourth.

It's cheaper, more original, smaller and more fun than an X-box 360, so I'm buying one...

My uni friend who lives next to me got it.
I played Wii BOxing for a solid twenty minute. Fun as hell.
It's nothing like IRL boxing, but its still damn fun.
Golf is a really tough minigame btw.
And twillight princess is sweet.

I remember my first time playing a PS... God that was awesome...
Anyways, I personally am gonna need to be a little more objective then a few hours of first encounter determining my opinion. I don't doubt in the slightest that it's very cool, but I'm not quite willing to jump on board 100% over an interface change yet.
Also, in related news, rumor has it that nintendo is planning future upgrades to the wii to support high def, improved graphics performance and hardware (most notably a DVD player). Man wii in high def would own so much... As cool as the early versions will be I want to see first what comes of the plans for upgraded versions.

Rayman Raving Rabits had me laughing for an hour after I finished playing. That game is absolutely hillarious. And fun.

Imma getting mine on the 8th. Everyon hates the UK and refuses to release it at the same time there as everyone else :O
also, you cna clearly see that Microsoft and Sony paid lots of money to their orignallity department. As you can clearly see, The PS3 and The Xbox360 aren't the same tired old console philosophy with slightly improved specs over the previous model, with no new features or decent cooling.
If you are stupid, that is INTENSE SARCASM RIGHT THAR. y'know, /SARCASM?
