I just finished finished watching the end of Eureka 7, 4 days after starting it...

Now I have that damn empty feeling of when I finish a good anime!

Just a bit unfortunate about the last 10 minutes of it. Hearts.

I bet it's ending wasn't as fucking retarded and unsatisfying as Evangelion's.

Guess why I didn't watch the 25th and 26th episode.
What's eureka about?

Kind of a generic mecha theme - you have mechs, people fight with them, random race is exceptionally good at piloting mechs, young boy falls in love with girl from random race, who doesn't recognise his love until later.

Then add surfing through the air using particles called 'trappar' and a few plot twists.

If you didn't watch the films, you never saw Evangelion's ending as intended, and if you did and thought it was "retarded" you probably were either reading too much or too little into the subtext.

I liked it, seen a lot worse. =P

The ending reminded me a bit of Gunbuster, but like I said, the hearts were just a big let down.
