I hope it isn't.

Why isn't this a poll?

Green color indicate where you have radar coverage.

it would be nice to switch imo, the green color is kinda ugly. or maybe u could only display the green color on the minimap, and not on the battle field itself

How about.. outlined circles.. one showing the units sight range, the other showing its weapon range.

How about making it not green at all. Just use normal colors to make a cheap simulation of fog of war and have it permanent on screen.

Yes, the LOS bothers me. The uncharted area should be dark, and it is. Why the seen area is so bright light is unknown. Not to mention that the radar los sucks.

i feel the units LOS is a bit too short, its fine in ta but in ta spring it just looks odd when i put radar up most fights take place where you cant see the enemy units just their radar blips.

My issue is with the fog of war as well... the current LOS system is just unweildy- in other words, we would all really like to see fog of war!.

Lets not forget there's currently no color coding for sonar or sonar jamming.

Yes, I think the terrain outside LOS should be darkened/dithered.
I'm still undecided whether radar coverage should be shown using circles on the ground or as it currently is. In OTA, the circles seemed to work quite well, so I feel that this is probably the best option...

Dithering would be nice, but it MUST be toggleable, I like to see the map unhindered most of the time.

I wouldn't mind to see a green grid of lines spreading from the end of the map.

Kind of like if we were commanding the armies from satelite and we are seeing a 3D construct on our table where we give our orders.

Would look very 3D renderization, should be easy to make and should be unoticeable in performance.
