Big Berthas

This isnt really a bona-fide bug but big berthas (whoa thats alotta b's) don't behave like they should. Their accuracy or targeting or something isn't quite right, as you can see during bertha fights- try to target something specific it seems like it never gets destroyed. I dont know that the problem is with their accuracy, trajectory, or whatever but someone needs to make a mod in which they are worth building.

Yeah, caydr made them that shitty for some reason. Buzzaw/Vulcan is even worser.

I'm pretty sure that the bertha inaccuracy is intentional, so as to make them balanced... But this would be something to put in the mod's thread.

(in xta at least) they nearly always overshoot: aim for a cluster of units, but force fire on ground about 1/3 of a screen in front of the actual target

If berthas were accurate it would be crazy. As it is they're fine for shelling a base...

If you havent already, use a stealth unit or peepers to get los on the target hellish, theyre alot more accurate then.
Without los they probably wont destroy that much, still handy for shelling a base randomly though, theres nothing more annoying than a couple of berthas taking pot shots at you from across the map ^^
