Inspired by one of the SupCom Beta's maps, I give you Finn's Revenge_v1.

I've used the layout of the origional map, and turned it sideways and shrunk it down by 50% for the first release to give players another 1 v 1 Skirmish map suited to fast games and Hard combat.

The map is 12x12 which is relatively small, but all of the best games I've ever played were on small maps so this is a size that I like to standard.

Your choices of attack are many, by land, by sea, by air, and no one is less or more valid than the other.

Each player starts with 7.6 base metal and can expand if he can hold the rest, there are 2 small islands to gain extra metal and geothermal power, as well as 5 more metal patches up on the front lines for each player.

I'm going to make the full scale Supcom Map when I get some time, so keep a heads up for the next release.

Enjoy.

Keep em smallish - 12x12/16x16/8x8 IMO :P.

I think I won't be playing this map till the sonar desync problem is fixed though - ruined many a good games on sea for me.

my only qualm is that it's too flat. Other than that, it looks super nice dude!

It is a bit flat and the texture is bland. Will the next version be a bigger version of this one?

Make the hills a bit higher and put the rocks on them like in the SupCom map.
Otherwise It looks good :)

Well I got a couple games in last night on this, and tbh it plays very well.

Most players I'm sure (as they were when I played) are going to be prone to Line the obvious choke points with LLt and defences, and thats when I got em :D.

I got to use the Lvl-1 Amphibious tanks for the first time with great sucess.

Its a fast map, thats a guarantee.

And there are so many ways to assault your enemy, thats what makes it fun for me.

I recommend that you guys give it a shot on some 1v1 for some skirmish fun.

It also played very well at 2v2, as there are 10 patches per island, each player then gets 5 patches to build their armies.
