Invisible Features with SoundLoops

Thats why...
And they need a function to randomly leave some Time in between, so they don`t play all the Time. I know that the Radio in CS Italy is living prove that this idea sux, but believe me, it would be usefull.

Include a keybind to stop all sounds played at once too then (like stopsound).

+ Rattle - the invisible Features would open countless Options. Birds and Waves at the Sea, Wind driving Sand through the Desert, Hell, even Grass makes some Sound when the Wind goes through it. Give the Speakers work, beside the Units...

I know what you are getting at, several other game engines got so called events which allow to play sounds or perform other actions (mostly for scripted missions).

Wow, yes this would be also really usefull for Singleplayer Missions... but i never thougth that far. It just wanted to give the Landscape the cheap Ilusion of Life through sound (no Polys, no Animations) just imagine a Nightmap with chirping Crickets...

There are several scientific websites that have soundclips of ducks, crickets, and other ambient wildlife. Acid could be used to stitch them together, tack them onto some invisible features (or not - what about a giant Cricket?!? :D ) and wallah, you have ambient sounds...

Hmmm imagine a gulliver map with giant, chirping cricket "features" which are so annoying it makes a player want to reclaim them.
