Artillery radar to detect incoming shells, rockets ...

Hi all,
i got question if it's possible to create this radar class function:
...maybe You all know there are in actual military services so called "artillery" radars
they can be used to spot incoming rockets, mortar&artillery shells, and missiles and even spy drones (also can see vehicles and ships) ...
of course this apply only when not hindered by terrain ...
they can be mounted at anything (starting with static builds going via vehicles and ships to airplanes) ...
they either linked to central warning system or contain powerful computer to fast calculate launch point origin (from trajectory etc) and report to communication central for instant response artillery / missile / air strike (or just set linked arty/mortar to return fire) ...
any idea if would be possible to add this to Spring ?
- detection of projectiles (defined by class)
- visualize theirs path trajectory
- approx origin source
anyway it's just idea and it depends what all can be shown in radar like source area of enemy fire etc (line, dot, circle etc)
or by custom icons (circle, square) in main view etc.
