The Spanish have a sense of humor, haha

Almost half of the spanish population (45,7%) suports the union of Portugal and Spain. Now comes the joke:
More than half (43,4%) thinks that the resulting country should be called Spain, the capital Madrid (80%) and the regime, the monarchy Spain curently lives in (70%) vs 30% claiming a republic.

Even though this is not entirely new (28% of the portuguese suports a union), this is laughable. A new word for conquering a country, haha.

Also, this is very odd, considering that all we see around the world is countries falling apart, not willing to bind together.

haaa, i think they meant the majority(?) or more than half of the voters. That would mean that some are undecided.
