Anyone here keep bees?

I do. Its fun. I'm currently eating wild comb that they built in the feeding box. Tasty.
So anyways. We ahve 1 hive, with 2 supers. And we just got a radial extractor (which is why we had to open the hive and which is why I'm eating the wild comb :D)
Anyways, anyone keep bees?

NOt really
Domestic (hiney) bees are really tame. Just don't stnad on them. Which is easy. I hae had them eat comb out of my hand (well, They sort of suck it up. meh)
And the honey is tasty. And. Um. Full of 110% sugar. I'm twitchiung right now you know :D

I have a phobia of bee's, when one comes within a meter of me I comically freeze, completely still, for any amount of time till the bee moves away

I partially suffer from arachnophobia. Oh and I like honey as long as it comes without any bees.

I haven't been stung. Bees seem to like me. I think it's because I like brightly coloured clothing (Most of my friends like black, so my stuff is 'brightly coloured' in comparison).

I like bees, but if one pops up next to my ear or something unexpectedly, i scream and run around like a little girl, and my heart makes a valiant effort to escape via my mouth

I hate wasps. Tempermental bastards (who are also attracted to me because of aforementioned preference in clothing)

Well we have one Hive... my Uncle had several, but they had a desease (i think he just didn`t really cared for them after a while - cannabills never care long for something)
Problem is breeding the Queens... But the Honey definatly is diffrent from the stuff the sell to you in shops...

Im dead scared of wasps and to a lesser extent, bees. When one gets close to me, i run around arms flapping until they go away. If im sitting down i can get up in the flash of an eye just to rfi.

I wasn't untill a whole hive came after me 4 years ago and gave me 12 stings. Two of them in a nasty place.
