Unwanted Shutting down

i didnt see this on the help and bugs forum so here it goes....
when i am about to start playing a game of TAs (just after the countdown) my computer decides to shut down and turn back on again... this has only started since the latest update
.
any information on how to fix this is much appreciated.

What OS are you on? Did this happen before in different applications? Be more specific about hardware specifications as well, please.

ok.... hardware.... 3.2 AMD athlon 3200+, 1Gb RAM, ATI Radeon X850XTX 250Gb hard drive (120ish free).. i am on Windows and it only happens on TAs and only since the latest update.
EDIT: 550 watt PSU

No idea actually, could be a mod issue, could be a map issue, could be an engine issue. Haven't seen anyone else getting this error.
Try resetting the registry data and then reinstall Spring if you updated from 0.72b1.

mine does that exact thing... want to know the problem? hardware issue... somewhere, something is fucked up, and you can't fix it without changing hardware
will probably cause a hell of a lot of sync errors too
(or its a virus
)

Cool. How about someone makes a clean post about resetting registry and a mod stickies it? Like: "HAVING ISSUES? TRY THIS FIRST!"
