Using Windows default cursor could recude mouse lag, i think.
Could someone test it? It becames really annoying when my mouse starts lag when game lags...
Also that white cursor is much easier to spot in the game, sometimes i dont find the cursor, especially when it lags a lot.

I think it's called a hardware cursor. You can still use Spring's own cursors.

I don't think it's possible to use a hardware cursor with OpenGL / SDL.
If you can prove me wrong however, and point me to the right documentation, then I might implement it, provided it's a simple, clean & crossplatform solution.

A coder friend of mine says it's possible since he has a hardware cursor running under OpenGl/SDL fullscreen but I have no example code at hand.
