SelectionRadius for mousekey

Pardon me for bringing this up again, but I think that it would be a hugely useful feature:

Lets say i make a command that selects all mines in a radius of 500. If I am at 1x zoom, over a certain point in a minefield, i will select all mines in a relatively tiny portion of my screen. However, if I zoom in, to say 7x, and use the same command with the mouse over the same point, then I will select those exact same mines - even if they are out of my viewing window!
Its as much of a bugfix as a feature, IMHO.

If this would be near-impossible to implement, could a dev say why?

Cant you do this with selectioneditor.exe?

No. SelectionKeys' editor only allows for ONE type of mouseradius - the absolute radius - which is where the problem lies. It needs to either do away with absolute radius entirely, or introduce an alternate "relative radius" option.

dragon 45, it says Distance from mouse, the distance is still the same as you zoom in or out.

Im ok with what you ask, but as an addition, not a replacement.

hm.. pixels from mouse?

also, stuff floating on water, or air, WONT be selected by this selection method. where is someone when you need one?
