I think I'll release them with 2 different skins.. purple and the orangeish one...
if you wanna add a vanilla... go for it... shouldn't be hard...
give me a lil bit to set up the UV's and skin it...

but lookie.. the purple ones are done!
Edit... got the other one done... it was pretty fast... mostly just altering colors... etc...

Badger badger badger badger badger badger...
Lathan, could you make super-sized versions of them? Imagine a map with giant mushrooms on it, not just small features... combined with supersized grass features so the player(s) feels sort of like Gulliver in the land of the giants or something like that. Though undestroyable (or reclaimable) features are needed then.

scaling objects in upspring is EASY!!... when I get these finished 100%.. if you wanna scale it huge and pretend to be a gopher... be my guest..

Well I was suggesting an idea for a map as well. Yeah I know how to resize them but I'm not a map maker :P

Well... seeing as transparency is hopefully in the next version... I may take another stab at making taht tree map.

And maybe Ill include some mushrooms. That could look quite good (but i'll prob od a texture that fits in better...).
Plus I can moddel loads better now... so the trees wont look crap. And I can UV map! WOOT!

I'm a few steps ahead of you....
been working on this thing for awhile.... I'm still having issues with the collisions... I may be able to have a "template" you can put on maps though before toooo long...
the biggest issue I've had is with "reclaimablility".... they need to fix the non-reclaimable tag..

Tell me about it Lathan...
I have a few tricks that work for pathing and collisions (involving very hard terain going up the inside of the trunks, and then the tree itself needs no colision detection.)
And then for thing like large roots ect.. that stick out, use seperate invisible models...
Complicated, but on this scale actully feasable.
And then as everythings big.... Hmmm Peewee size Mushrooms. mmmmm...
BTW ... I take thats for like a tree thats in teh water or somthing.... ? Right?

I think in 0.73 indestructable features are non reclaimable.
