Decals under features

In the same way we can have decals / overalys on the map under buildings, can we have this for features too?

The main upshot for this would be corpses: Now we can have proper scorch marks or blood splatter etc

I could put it into the MapTexture, like a Metallspot...it would be lowres but it would be no additional work for the Feature Creators..

This is an excellent idea. In TA you could see where the enemy had be reclaiming, giving you a chance to take out his construction units before they reclaimed a ton of metal from a wreckage field, or rocks on a map like Red Triangle.
