Well, I've made another video. This video highlights a few of the more interesting tactics I know of and also touches on the importance of aggressive play in spring.
The video includes scenes from matches hosted in the unknown files reply section. I am using them under the fair use for education terms in internation copyright law
Check it out here (do not right click, follow the link to the download page):

Low-res version via Google video:

If you have an suggestions for other tatics to include in part 2, please comment on them below or email me

This video is really excellent. Are more on the way, for other mods perhaps? A video for newbs would be fantastic too.

thanks for the vid, downloading it now.
note: this link may look like the link to a movie, but it's not. it's a link to a page at which you can download the movie. don't right click on the link, you won't get the movie. go to the actual page.

damn! now everyone (that watched this) knows about DT terraforming! although it often (for me) is inadequate for some things, ie a f*ng vulcan!?!
again, i suggest you stop using that lame green background for text... get a still from the movie, or a SS of the map at tab-zoom... credits were nicer, though

Yeah, I agree the green background is lame but it makes it easy to read. I WILL be getting rid of it for the next video and upping the production values, using a lot more different camera angles, panning, dolly shots and changing the camera shot a LOT more.
I may have to make the move to Adobe Premiere Pro as movie maker is a little limiting with only one video stream and one extra audio track.
If anyone wants to send me replays of stuff they think should be included in part 2 please email them (also with what I'm looking out for and a time index).
P.S. shame if nano towers wont be transportable in the next version.

I'm still downloading the video, but I have two words of advice for you:
http://www.youtube.com/
http://video.google.com/
Makes the videos a bit more accesible :)

Nanotowers aren't transportable because that can trigger a bug that makes them invincible.
