error at position 345 when loading vertex program file grassfarns.vp

I get this error when trying to load a game, any suggestions?

Install new graphic card drivers, if that doesnt work buy a new graphic card or turn down grass detail to 0.

Oh and if someone could tell me what the heading in that messagebox was i would be interested.
